Latisse® Eyelash Growth Treatment

Latisse® Treatment In Denver

Make your eyes more inviting with Latisse®, the first and only FDA-approved treatment for eyelash growth. Available at Body Massage Wellness Spa in downtown Denver, Latisse® can transform thin or inadequate eyelashes into fuller, thicker, and darker ones.

Latisse® (bimatoprost ophthalmic solution) 0.03% is specially designed to treat hypotrichosis (inadequate or not enough eyelashes) by increasing their growth, including length, thickness, and darkness

What Makes Latisse® Unique?

Unlike other eyelash growth products, Latisse® is the only one approved by the FDA as a prescription treatment to grow eyelashes in individuals with inadequate or not enough eyelashes.

How Does Latisse® Work?

Latisse® is believed to prolong the anagen (active growth) phase of eyelashes. The exact mechanism of action is unknown.

Proper Application of Latisse®

Latisse® should be applied every night using only the sterile applicators provided with the product. Start by thoroughly cleansing your face and removing all makeup and contact lenses (if applicable). Then carefully place one drop of Latisse® solution on the disposable sterile applicator and brush gently along the skin of the upper eyelid margin at the base of the eyelashes. If any Latisse® solution gets into the eye, it will not cause harm and there is no need to rinse. However, be sure not to apply the solution to the lower eyelid line. Any excess solution outside the upper eyelid margin should be blotted with a tissue or other absorbent material.

Important Tips For Proper Latisse® Use

Ensure the Latisse® bottle remains uncontaminated by avoiding contact between the tip of the bottle, applicator, or surrounding structures, fingers, or other unintended surfaces that may introduce bacteria and cause infections. Also, make sure to use each applicator only once and then discard it, as reusing applicators can result in contamination and serious infections.

It is essential to inform your physician if you’re using Latisse®, especially if you have a history of eye pressure problems. Additionally, inform anyone conducting eye pressure screening that you’re using Latisse® solution.

Special Warnings for Latisse® Use

Latisse® solution should only be used on the skin of the upper eyelid margins at the base of the eyelashes. Do NOT apply it to the lower eyelid. Users of LUMIGAN® or other products that treat elevated intraocular pressure (IOP) should use Latisse® under close supervision of their physician due to the risk of abnormal IOP.

While Latisse® use may cause darkening of the eyelid skin, this side effect is typically reversible. However, increased brown pigmentation of the iris may be permanent. Additionally, Latisse® may cause hair growth in other areas of the skin it frequently touches or create differences in eyelash length, thickness, fullness, pigmentation, direction of growth, or eyelash hair count. These differences will usually resolve after discontinuing Latisse®.
